Football's biggest tournament tops this list ahead of schedule, as the year's last FIFA dates determined more of the 48 teams that will play all over North America. Plus, Africa and Asia decided who will be their representatives in the intercontinental playoff for the two last spots, gotten by DR Congo (beating Nigeria; they had last appeared in 1974, still as Zaire) and Iraq (beating UAE, and seeking a return after 1986 still under Saddam Hussein). |

The film was released theatrically by Universal Pictures last Friday and opened to mostly positive reviews and grossed a total of $226 million worldwide including $150 million from US and Canada. It became the second-biggest opening of 2025, the second-biggest all-time opening for a Universal film, the second-biggest pre-Thanksgiving debut of all-time, and the third-biggest all-time opening for a musical film. |
